SWINE FLU: FACT ON THE H1N1 VIRUS

You might be questioning yourself why President Obama declared the H1N1 national emergency. To begin let me remind you that the swine flu pandemic started in April. Since then more than 20000 H1N1 case has been reported and more than 1000 patients have died in 46 state including 100 children.
In order for this administration to shorten the numbers it is an imperative to take the H1N1 pandemic to a high standard. Through the state of emergency the federal government has formulate procedure to reply to the pandemic by helping hospitals to deal with patient. This will enable doctor to come in from any states or different facilities to take care of a patient without any requirement.
Remember swine flu can turn to a fatal illness within the matter of hour.
Here are some symptoms of H1N1 list by the Center for Disease Control: cough, body ache, headache, fever, chills, fatigue, congestion, sore throat, and vomiting, stuffy nose. If you have any of these symptoms do not hesitate go check a doctor.
The Centers for Disease Control also prospected a list a category of group of people called 'high priority group': Pregnant woman, baby under 6 month, 24 years old, health care worker, 25-64 years old with health problems. According to the Center for Disease Control this group needs to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

CREDIT CARD: WHY YOUR INTEREST RATE IS SKYROCKING

Consumers all across the nation are complaining about the rise of their credit card interest rate. Today Americans interest rates are so high that they even forget, they are under a credit system. Consumers easily get fine for hundreds of dollars in penalties for overdrawing just few dollars. You might be wondering why such increase? And who are behind this financial rape.
The thru is the congress licensed the bank by giving them until next February to comply with the new credit card rule legislated earlier this year in order to protect consumer. So, from now to February 2010 the Banks are benefiting by raising abundantly your interest rate and using abusive practice.
Certainly we have a law to protect consumers but it will become operative in February 2010; in the mean time the Americans can seat back and watch the banks furnishing their pocket.
The chairman of the Banking Committee, Sen. Chris Dodd, is desperately fighting to stop the firms. Last week he has introduces a bill to freeze interest rate.
"Banks should not be trying to bolster their profits at the expense of their customers." he stated.

ENGLES OR TICKET.

What the heck is going on! A woman got ticket for not speaking English. Can you believe it? A rooky police officer from the Dallas police depart gave a $204 fine to Ernestina Mondrago. “I felt humiliated; my self esteem hit the floor. I felt Ihave been discriminated against.” She quoted.
Now Ernesta Mondragon is suing the Dallas police department.
Indeed there is a federal law that request commercial driver to speak enough English in order to identify their load but this is not the case. The Dallas police department Chief David Kunkle has apologized to Ernesta Mondragon and the Hispanic community but also called for an inquiry due to previous prior case.

" MICHAEL JACKSON THIS IS IT " IN THEATER

The king of pop apparently might be gone but his legacy lives on. On Wednesday October 28, 2009 the legendary pop star ‘Michael Jackson’s this is it’ documentary film will be released. The director of the documentary, Kenny Ortega uses footage from M. Jackson final concert rehearsal. Kenny said the documentary was recorded in presence of group of dancers and few technical crew members and concerning the question on was Michael Jackson able to do the 50 tour he stated “You are going to see what Michael had in mind.”
The story behind the show is a possible skyrocking of Michael Jackson’ estate. Remember Sonny paid 60 million for the documentary film. Since Michael Jackson’s death, he has made at least 100 million just on deals and another 50 or 100 million just in music. Jackson is also part of the ownership of the Sonny Beatles catalogue and other music catalogues worth 100 million. He owns estate in his never land ranch.

PUBLIC OPTION CONCLUSIVE POINT.

One of the biggest tasks facing the Obama administration is the health care reform. The clock is ticking and the parties are split between those who want a government run option and those who wholly opposed it. Most of Americans get their coverage from private insurance compare to nearly 50 millions who do not have insurance.

The polemic is whether or not a public option, a plan proposed by the Obama administration, is substantial in order to cover the 50 million Americans uninsured and generate a fair competition between governments run insurance company and the private insurance.
Few weeks ago it was the house representative Nancy Pelosi pushing for the public option, but now Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is also joining the government insurance option carriage that allow states to "opt out" if they do not want to take part.
The only Republican leader to vote for the Senate Finance Committee's health care bill, Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine has warned democrats’ leaders that she would not jump on board of a public option wagon.

Despite Health Care reform remain top priority on Pres. Obama agenda, it is also one of the most complex issues. But no matter how divided the leaders in Congress are on health care issue this week calls for unity, understanding therefore a proposal. Both House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are compelled to take a final decision in the position to start voting for the beginning of November.

AFGHANISTAN ELECTION FRAUD.

The commission investigating the Afghanistan's presidential election has found evidences of fraud in more than 200 polling agency. Unhesitatingly the Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) has asked the Afghanistan's Independent Election Commission (IEC) to invalidate the 210 polling stations.
Disagreements are gaining ground among the Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC), sponsored by the United Nations and the Independent Election Commission (IEC), supported by the Karzai government.
The question that disturbs people's minds is the hypothesis of a second round. A spokesman for the IEC will decide on Wednesday October 21, 2009 if a runoff is appropriate.
For the White House this a political turmoil that lands his dusty haze on the clouds of the war against al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. According to Associated Press the Pres. Obama has been advised not to send additional troop before the results of the election are clear.
The Afghan authorities have anticipated the November 1 date for new elections if a second round is required.

GUINEA: DADIS PUT IT ON BLAISE COMPAORE / DADIS REMETS A BLAISE COMPAORE

In response to the ultimatum launched by the council of peace and security of the African Union, the object of non application of the head of the junta and its members in the elections of January 30, 2010, Dadis Camara has suggested that this topic be included in the agenda of the conciliator Blaise Compaore. The letter arrived on the table of the council of peace and security of the African Union on the night of Saturday, October 17 before the deadline. A letter missive, full of complements that hardly agree with the subject diving the country fate into a deep political conspiracy.
It is hard to believe but true, the fate of Guinea is in the hands of the mediator Blaise Compaore, who also would work for the establishment of a transitional government. According to different sources, the sanctions taken by the African Union will be in use by next meeting.

GUINEA: SATURDAY 12AM DEALINE TO RESIGN

African Union has launched the challenge against the junta leader. The Council for Peace and Security of the African Union has asked the captain Moussa Dadis to waive its political lust, not to stand for elections of January 30, 2010. Moussa Dadis Camara has been ordered to surrender by midnight Saturday.

And on top of this breaking news it is official there will be a commission of inquiry into the 'September 28 massacre' has confirmed the Secretary General of United Nations(UN) Ban Ki-moon.

GUINEA: DADIS IN THE RETINA OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT ICC

The international community is taking action against Moussa Dadis Camara, chef of the junta. According to the prosecutor of the ICC(International Criminal Court), Luis Moreno Ocampo, crimes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court could have been perpetrated in Guinea during the 'September 28 massacre'.

Remember on september 28 people from all part of Guinea rallied at the stadium to demonstrate against a possible candidacy of Moussa Dadis Camara, chief of the junta who seized the power unlawfully since december 2008.
Much to the world surprise the police forces opened fire leaving nearly 157 people dead and more than thousand severely wounded. Other sources accused the security forces of rapes and sexual assaults on women taking part of the rally.

The European Union qualified the 'September 28 massacre' as crimes against humanity. Therefore suggestion of taking action against the military rulers and against their leader, the captain Moussa Camara Dadisis is not off the table.

At the time of a meeting between the African Union and the European Union, Mr. Karel de Gucht, the european commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid has decided on the facts of the 'September 28 massacre' as he quoted "The leader of the coup d'etat is accountable for its actions before a court for crimes against humanity. The repression of 28 September was a brutal ever seen. We are indeed facing a crime against humanity. And there is a principle idea is that, everywhere, when a crime against humanity is perpetrated, these crimes are judges. International justice must also be universal, otherwise it loses its credibility."
In other hand the United States secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton also called on the Guinean military junta to relinquish power.
But let's be clear this steps does not entitle the ICC(International Criminal Court) to conduct an inquiry. Luis Moreno Ocampo must get approval from the judges of the preliminary to do so.

Now facing this internal and external pressure, is the chet of junta Moussa Dadis Camara willing to abide by its promise that he will not run as candidat in elections of January 30, 2010 or would he dare to go against the Guinean people, the opposition movements and the international institutions like the African Union, European Union, African Union, the Economic Community of the west African States, the United Nations, national and the international movements for human rights, which all share the same point of view 'the departure of Dadis'.

HEALTH CARE BILL: $829B PLAN, SUBSTANTIAL MOVE

Health Care Reform fate is starting to settle. The congressional committee has approved $829 billion project to shape America health care reform.
The $829 Baucus health care legislation would stretch insurance coverage for 29 million Americans and subsidize insurance cost to help family afford coverage. The bill would also stop health insurance companies from dropping consumer because of pre-existing conditions. The congressional budget office appraised the $829 Baucus health care bill and concluded that the bill would curb the national deficit by $80 billion over the next 10 years.

The key senate committee passed the legislation with 14-9 vote. Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine was the only republican to cross political divergence and vote for the bill.
Pres. Obama thanks Sen. Snowe for her courage and seriousness. During the address he reiterated his contentment and said that the time has come to "dig in and work even harder to get this done."
The former Pres. Bill Clinton said that he is certain the health care bill will pass this time compare to 1994. But he also believe that the republican want the democrats to fail. Because if they pass the health care bill it might put the democrats in the majority for 30 more years.
Now the Senate committee has clear the road from all impediments let’s see what would happen to public option.

Sunday was lighting by a rally organized by gay rights supporters. They paraded from the White House to the Capital to grap President Barack Obama and congress attention in order to enable gays to serve publicly in the military, allow same-sex marriages and put an end to end to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy discrimination against gays.
Many of the protesters feel confident that they voice will be heard since the gay rights struggle has been linked to the Civil Rights movement.
Children was among the demostrators and the crowd was singing canticle like "Hey, Obama, let mama marry mama".
President Obama a strong supporter of the movement said on saturday that he can announce that after more than a decade this bill is set to pass and will sign it with no hesitation. At the dinner for the Human Rights Campaign, Pres. Obama repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy and expressed his ambition to fight for an equal right by pushing Congress to abrogate the Defense of Marriage Act and pass the Domestic Partners Benefit and Obligations Act. GUINEA: 51TH ANNIVERSARY + 157 FUNERALS = TOTAL CONFUSION.

October 2th the Republic of Guinea celebrated his independence from France 51 years ago. From october 2, 1958 to october 2, 2009 no doubt it`s 51 years on the dot. 51 years with gold, diamond and half of the world reserve of bauxite the Republic of Guinea is still among the world indigent nations. 51 years of sovereignty the Republic of Guinea is still governed by military elites.
A celebration that comes in the dawn of 'september 28th slaughter' in the capital prime soccer stadium against a possible candidacy of the chief of the junta Dadis Camara, putting the death toll at 157 and more than 1000 wounded. A strenuous repression condenmed by the international commuty.
The family of the victims gathered this friday, 51th anniversary to bury their loved one while other are still searching for a relative.
In order to sue for peace Dadis Camara has called for a national unity government. A call the opposition learders has strictly rejected asking for an inquiry so that the officers who commited the massacre of september 28th can be brought to justice.
While guineans from all around the world are raise concern on social networks -facebook- myspace- twitter ect... the nation remains divided among Dadis Camara, the opposition and those who just seek peace. As the country getting ready for the january 30th elections would Dadis Camara give up on his political ambitions and give the power to the people in order to re-establish the constitutional order? Is another storm of demonstration brewing in the days ahead? What the guineans should do to dismantle a second military authority? {All comments are expected}
